What this website does

The enquiry form prepares a message in your browser. When you choose WhatsApp or email, your message opens in that service for you to review and send. Submitting the form does not store an enquiry in a GreenTax website database. Your checklist selections stay in the current page’s memory and are cleared when the page is reloaded.

Please include only your name, the broad type of help you need and a brief description. Do not submit ID numbers, tax numbers, passwords, OTPs, bank details or tax documents through this site.

Why we use information you send

We use information you choose to send to understand and respond to your enquiry, discuss possible services and, if agreed, arrange an engagement. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Any ongoing professional work, authorisation or document exchange will be arranged separately.

WhatsApp, email and hosting

WhatsApp is a Meta service and email is handled by your and our email providers. Their privacy terms apply when you use them. Messages prepared for WhatsApp are passed in the link you open; avoid sensitive details. These providers may process information outside South Africa.

Once deployed, the website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Hosting and communications providers may process technical data such as IP addresses, request times and browser information for delivery, security and operation. Access to the official SARS website is governed by its own terms when you follow a source link. The news displayed here contains public headline metadata and does not send your enquiry to SARS.

Cookies and analytics

This version of the website does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, third-party font services or embedded social widgets. Fonts and photographs are served as website files. Your browser and communication apps may retain their normal history, downloaded files and service data.

Retention, protection and sharing

We keep correspondence only as needed for the enquiry, any agreed professional engagement, record-keeping duties or a legitimate legal purpose. The appropriate retention period depends on the records and requirements involved. Access should be limited to those who need it for these purposes. If a colleague or service provider needs to assist with your matter, we will consider the appropriate authority and privacy arrangements before sharing confidential information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask what personal information we hold, request access or correction, and request deletion or object to processing where applicable, subject to lawful record-keeping requirements.
